My grandson was born 5 weeks early and was in special care for a short time, although he's he was ok when we first brought him home, suddenly he has started crying all the time, my daughter who is only 17yrs old is at her wits end, as he keep her awake all night, and cry for most of the day.
the health visitor say that the baby has colic which is all well and good, but what do we do to make him feel better and get his mum some sleep?
Please!!!!

Have you tried Colief? You can buy it at boots, it works differently from all the other ones - gripe water, infacol etc. I don't know the exact scientific explanation, but I do know that it worked for my daughter when I was at my wits end. My health visitor didn't know about it, but it was recommended by a friend who had the same problem. It cost about £10 for an eyedrop size bottle, but it is well worth it! I have since recommended it to everyone I know with a colicky baby and it has worked in all but one case, and that was because she later found out that her baby had a stomache disorder. Hope this helps.
