Twins anyone??
I was just browsing the net whislt my twins, Jack and Libby (1 week) are asleep, and came across this site. I thinks it's excellent and will find myself logging in again every time i get 5 mins to myself!! The twins are my fist, anyone else got twins and would like to chat about them? Just leave a message and I'll get back to you. Well, gotta go, my peace is over, Jack's awake, best go before Libby wakes up to.

Socio Communication Disorder
My 5 year old son has difficulty with social skills at school and was referred to CDC and the doctor suspects Aspergers Syndrome but hasn't been diagnosed as yet. So I wondered if there were any parents out there who have children with the same condition.

Choosing your baby's genetic make up
So why shouldnt parents be able to influence their baby's genetic make up? In the case of baby Adam Nash who was born from an embryo specifically chosen to fit his sister molly's tissue, adam could help to save his sister's life. Molly has a condition that involves failure of bone marrow production and without the transpant from Adam may not survive more than a year. Were the parents wrong to pre-screen the embryo from which Adam was born ? Even if the objective was not life saving, why shouldnt parents be able to have a say in their baby's make up ? - after all they will continue to influence their child's development after he or she is born.

Siamese Twins
I wonder what smallfolk visitors think about the predicament of the parents who are having to choose between on of the Siamese twins living or both dying. Should doctors and Judges play God and decide who lives, or if nature intended that they both die should we accept this and permit a natural death to occur.

Paedophiles - Should they be named?
After following the news recently, I am particularly interested in other parent's views on whether or not known paedophiles should be named. As a parent of two young children I feel that I have a right to know for the safety of my children, if a known paedophile was living nearby.
