Website
benefits children's health
A new website is offering parents and carers of under-fives
the largest source of child health information in the UK.
The website, Smallfolk.com, is in partnership with Great Ormond
Street Children's Hospital in London. It provides online access
to expert advise and guidance on areas including child health, child
development and childcare. More than 1,000 lines of baby equipment
and products, including clothes, books, CD-Roms, prams and cots,
are advertised.
Co-founder Ilesh Kotecha, a single parent and former investment
banker, said,'The idea for Smallfolk.com was born out of need. Great
Ormond Street was the ideal partner. It provides high-quality information
and also enables us to help support sick children and their families
in the process'.
For
every £1 website visitors spend on products, 5p will be donated
to the hospital's children's charity. The website can be found at
www.Smallfolk.com and www.Smallfolk.co.uk
